These Terms and Conditions  govern the sale, hire, servicing and repair of mobility equipment provided by The Wheelchair Centre. By using our services or purchasing our products, you agree to these terms.

  1. Company Information

The Wheelchair Centre operates in Greater Manchester, Stockport, Tameside and Glossop. We offer sales and hire of mobility scooters, powered chairs and wheelchairs, along with servicing and repairs.

  1. Products and Services
    1. We sell new and pre-owned mobility scooters, powered chairs, and wheelchairs.
    2. Wheelchairs and small boot scooters are available for hire, subject to availability
    3. All servicing and repairs are subject to inspection and quotation
    4. Services are performed to a professional standard
  2. Payment Terms
    1. Payment is required in full at point of sale unless otherwise agreed.
    2. We may offer third party finance options, subject to approval. These agreements are separate from our terms.
    3. Orders may be cancelled if payment is not received or finance is declined
  3. Delivery
    1. We deliver within Manchester, Stockport, Tameside and Glossop.
    2. Delivery arrangement and costs will be confirmed at time of purchase.
    3. We are not liable for delivery delays beyond our control
  4. Warranty
    1. New products include a 12-month manufacturer/supplier warranty
    2. Used products included a 3-month limited warranty
    3. Warranties excluded damaged caused by misuse, neglect, or wear and tear
    4. Warranty claims are subject to inspection
  5. Refunds and Returns
    1. Refunds and returns are considered case by case
    2. Contact us within 14 days of receiving your product to request a return
    3. Refunds are issued to the original payment method where applicable
  6. Service and Repairs
    1. All work is preceded by a verbal quotation following inspection
    2. No work will be carried out without your approval
    3. We are not responsible for un-related or pre-existing issues
  7. Wheelchair Hire
    1. Hire agreements are subject to availability and terms
    2. Hired items must be returned on time and in good condition
    3. You are responsible for any loss or damage during the hire period
  8. Limitation of Liability
    1. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
    2. Our liability is limited to the value of the product or service
    3. These terms do not limit our liability for death or injury due to negligence
  9. Governing Law
    1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved by the courts of England and Wales.
